(b Carpentras, c1470; d Avignon, June 14, 1548). French composer. In 1505 he was appointed one of the three capellaniae chorales in Avignon. As the document of commission refers to him as ‘clerico carpentrasso’, he must have taken ecclesiastical orders by then.
