(b Nikopol, Bulgaria, Dec 14, 1900; d Sofia, Bulgaria, March 27, 1973). Bulgarian composer and conductor. He studied violin under Todor Torchanov, piano with Nedialka Torchanova, and music theory, harmony, and counterpoint under Nikola Atanasov.
