(b Gdańsk, Sept 1, 1954). Polish composer. At the Warsaw Academy of Music she studied conducting with Ryszard Dudek (diploma with distinction, 1979) and composition with Marian Borkowski, graduating in 1982, and was later appointed lecturer in composition there. Her works have been performed at concerts and festivals of contemporary music in several European countries, the USA, Mexico and Cuba, and have been broadcast in the USA and France as well as in Poland.
