(b Bucharest, Romania, July 8, 1960). Austrian conductor of Romanian descent . Son of Marin Constantin (founder of the national ‘Madrigal’ choir), he began his studies at the ‘George Enescu’ musical high school in Bucharest, in Ludmila Popișteanu’s piano class. He continued his professional specialization at the National University of Music Bucharest (the piano, orchestral conducting, and composition) and specialized at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Accademia Chigiana in Siena, and Acadédemie internationale d’été Nisa.
