Six-string Pluriarc of the Ngando of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The rectangular wooden soundboard is sewn onto the soundbox with rattan. The strings are made of vegetable material (raffia, liana) although the bass string can be made of twisted skin. Nowadays metal strings are also used.
