Bamboo nose flute of the Kayang, Kenyah, and Kajang peoples of Sarawak, Malaysia. It is made from a narrow tube of bamboo usually about 50 cm long. The tube is closed at the top end by a node, into which a small hole is cut to serve as the blowing hole. The flute is held transversely under the nose so that one nostril is blocked while the other blows into the hole.
