Idioglot clarinet of Slovakia. It is is made by splitting a piece of wood, hollowing it, and thinning the upper end of one half to form the reed, and then reuniting the two halves. The six fingerholes and a thumbhole can be circular or square, and normally each is in a carved sunken area. Another type has two pipes of different lengths; one, with fingerholes, plays the melody and the other, without holes, a drone....
