Comédie musicale in one act by Maurice Ravel after the play by Franc-Nohain Franc-Nohain ; Paris, Opéra-Comique (Salle Favart), 19 May 1911.

Franc-Nohain’s comedy L’heure espagnole had been a great success at the Odéon in Paris in 1904, and Ravel made only some small cuts and revisions in refashioning it as a libretto.
