(b ?Olomouc, c1660; d Mannheim, bur. Aug 31, 1730). Moravian viol player and composer. Georg Finger, his father or brother, was cantor at St Moriče, Olomouc. Gottfried was presumably in the service of Prince-Bishop Karl Liechtenstein-Kastelcorn, for pieces composed and copied by him survive in the prince-bishop's music collection at Kroměříž.
