(b Sarajevo, May 12, 1929; d Vienna, March 31, 2008). Croatian composer. In 1939 she began her musical education at the Music School in Sarajevo, and then from 1945 she continued her studies at the Department for Music Theory and Music Education at the Music High School in Sarajevo. From 1955 she studied conducting in the class of Mladen Pozajić at the Academy of Music in Sarajevo, and from 1957 composition in the class of Miroslav Špiler. In 1959 she began studying in the class of Lucijan Marija Škerjanc at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, graduating in 1962. In 1966 she received her Master’s degree in the same class.

On graduating from the Music High School in Sarajevo she worked for a time as a piano teacher at the Primary Music School in Sarajevo, and after graduating from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana she taught courses in music theory at the Secondary Music School in Sarajevo. From ...
