(b Sarajevo, Oct 6, 1947). Serbian composer. She studied composition with Enriko Josif at the Belgrade Academy of Music and completed postgraduate studies with Vojin Komadina at the Music Academy in Sarajevo. In 1977 she was appointed to teach at the music school in Kragujevac, and in 1993 she joined the arts faculty of the University of Priština. She teaches composition and harmony at the Faculty of Arts in Kosovska Mitrovica. She is a founding member and president of the Serbian association Women in Music, section of the Fondazione Adkins Chiti: Donne in Musica. She has composed for a variety of forces, including solo flute, solo piano, brass band and children’s chorus. Her music is strongly polyphonic and freely atonal. In several works she has experimented with 12-note serialism and aleatory techniques.
