(b New York, NY, May 24, 1982). American composer and visual artist. After attending Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts, he studied math, music, and computer science at Columbia University (BA 2004). He subsequently received a masters in art, music, and electronics at the interactive telecommunications program at Tisch School of the Arts (2007). He also attended the first Bang on a Can Summer Institute (2002).

Perich has been inspired by the aesthetics of math and physics and has worked with simple forms and complex systems. His compositions, which offer an austere meeting of electronic and organic sounds, have been performed internationally by ensembles including Bang on a Can, the Calder Quartet, Sonic Generator, and Ensemble Pamplemousse. In 2010 Rhizome commissioned him to create an audio installation with 1500 speakers.
