End-blown flute of the Vira, Fuliru, and Rundi peoples of the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (Maniema) and Burundi. It is made from a hollow stalk about 65 cm long and 2 cm in diameter at the blowing end, narrowing to 1 cm at the extremity. It has two or three fingerholes and is used by herdsmen for entertainment....
