Large single-headed Frame drum used by the shamans of the Kham-Magar people, Nepal. An identical instrument, with a diametrical handle affixed to the wooden frame, is used by the Gurung and Thakali, who call it by the Tibetan term rnga, or phyed-rnga (‘half drum’).
