Spanish family of organ builders of French (probably Gascon) origin.

(bcl540; d Daroca, July 7, 1607). He was active in Tarazona, and built new organs at Paracuellos de Jiloca (1564), El Castellar, S Miguel, Daroca (1565–7), S María de Palacio, Logroño (1577), and S María, Tafalla (1581). He also constructed organs at Zaragoza: at S Cruz (1567; with a split Dulzaina register) and the Franciscan convent (1598). He repaired the instruments at the collegiate church, Daroca (1569 and from 1597), S Pedro de los Francos, Calatayud (1600), and three at Zaragoza: the Metropolitan Cathedral (1577–9 and 1591; restored by Gerhard Grenzing, 2003), S Pablo (1584), and the basilica of Nuestra Señora del Pilar (1595 and 1602; also enlarged).
