Idiochord string drum played throughout Sulawesi, Indonesia. It is called ganrang bulo in South Sulawesi, tantabua in Bolaang Mongondow, and anthu-anthuga in Gorontalo. It is a bamboo tube, closed at each end by a node, with two ‘strings’ cut lengthwise from its surface and raised on bridges near each end, with a small soundhole cut in the tube below them.
