Obsolete double clarinet of Vietnam. It was made of two bamboo tubes, about 17.6 cm long and 6 cm in diameter, tied together with bamboo fibres. Each tube supposedly had an idioglot reed and six holes, pierced on the left-hand tube slightly lower than on the right, and the tubes are said to have sounded a semitone apart. It was used at funerary ceremonies....
